Reciprocity medical card

A state's policy of recognizing valid medical marijuana cards issued by other states, allowing visiting patients to purchase from in-state dispensaries. Reciprocity rules vary widely: some states accept any valid out-of-state card (Maine, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico), some accept only specific states' cards, some require the visiting condition to qualify under the host state's program, and many accept no out-of-state cards at all. Often allows shorter purchase windows or smaller daily limits than for in-state patients.
