Thai stick
A traditional Southeast Asian cannabis preparation made by skewering buds onto bamboo stakes, dipping in hash oil, and wrapping in fan leaves cured with cannabis-leaf wax. Smuggled into the United States in significant volume during the Vietnam War era (1965-1975) and considered the gold standard of imported cannabis through the early 1980s. Authentic Thai sticks largely disappeared after the Reagan-era drug war, though boutique cultivators have revived the technique in legal markets.
