Sesh
Clipping of session with casual -sh spelling, attested from the 1950s in British English — initially among jazz musicians for a jam or drinking session, per Green's Dictionary of Slang. Extended to cannabis "smoke sessions" through later 20th-century counterculture use; now common in U.S., U.K., Australian, and online stoner vernacular. Functions as both noun ("a smoke sesh") and verb ("to sesh"). Popularized in cannabis rap culture partly via rapper Bones's "Sesh" collective and label in the 2010s.
