Cold start dab
A dabbing technique where the concentrate is loaded into a cold quartz banger before heating, rather than the traditional method of pre-heating the banger and waiting for it to cool. The torch heats the banger and concentrate together, vaporizing at lower temperatures (250-350°F vs 600°F+). Preserves more terpene flavor and reduces combustion byproducts but produces less visible vapor and requires precise timing. Sometimes called a "cold start" or "reverse dab." --- End of Part 3. For device and consumption hardware terms (vape cartridges, dab rigs, bangers, pipes), see Part 4. For cannabinoid chemistry, molecular structure, and pharmacology terms (THC, CBD, THCA, terpenes, endocannabinoid system), see Part 2. For consumption, dosage, and effects terminology, see Part 5.
