Sticky
Refers to the resinous tactile quality of well-cured flower — tacky but not wet, leaving light residue on fingers from intact trichome resin, and indicating preserved terpene and cannabinoid content. The popular elaboration "sticky-icky" was popularized by Snoop Dogg on Dr. Dre's "Still D.R.E." (from 2001, released November 1999): "No stress, no seeds, no stems, no sticks / Some of that real sticky-icky-icky." E-40 used a version of the term weeks earlier in 1999's "Do What You Know Good." The phrase entered general English as shorthand for premium flower. Snoop continued deploying it through subsequent releases. ⚠️ Contrary to popular memory the phrase does not appear in "The Next Episode" (2000), where Snoop's famous line is "Smoke weed every day."
