Dabbing

A cannabis consumption method where a small dose of concentrate is vaporized on a heated surface (typically a quartz banger) and inhaled through a water pipe (dab rig). Concentrate doses are very small (10-50mg) but very potent (60-90% THC), producing rapid, intense effects. Mainstream-popularized in the early 2010s alongside the rise of butane hash oil (BHO). Distinguished from smoking flower by the requirement of specialized equipment (rig, banger, torch or e-nail) and the absence of plant matter in the vapor.
