Crumble

Crumble is a dry, porous, honeycomb-textured BHO concentrate, also marketed as "honeycomb wax." Production uses a longer purge at higher temperatures than wax or budder — 120–150°F for 24–48 hours — and may involve more aggressive whipping or agitation to drive moisture out and produce the brittle, porous structure. Higher-moisture starting material also tends to push BHO product toward a crumble consistency. Finished crumble is dry, brittle, and crumbly in the manner of feta cheese or dried honeycomb. It is opaque yellow to golden, tests at 60–80% THC, and generally carries lower terpene content than budder or live resin because the longer, warmer purge drives off volatile compounds. Crumble's advantage is practical: it is easy to portion, easy to sprinkle into joints or bowls, and easy to load onto a dab tool without the stickiness management that budder or shatter require.
