Disposable vape

A disposable vape is an all-in-one cannabis vaporizer containing a pre-filled oil chamber, heating element, battery, and mouthpiece in a single non-refillable, non-serviceable unit. When the oil is depleted or the battery dies — whichever comes first — the entire device is discarded. Capacities typically run 0.3g to 2g of distillate, live resin, or blended oil; some modern disposables are rechargeable via USB-C to ensure the battery outlasts the oil. The category grew aggressively in the early 2020s: between the first quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2024, disposables' share of cannabis vape dollar sales rose roughly 92%, reaching about 25% of all vape sales. Drivers included lower per-unit cost for consumers, simplified purchase decisions, and the elimination of hardware failures such as leaky carts and cross-compatibility issues with aftermarket batteries. Disposables tend to feature flavor-forward and strain-blended oils rather than single-strain formulations.
