Harvest window
The period during which cannabis can be cut for optimal product, defined by trichome maturity. Generally spans 1-3 weeks: early harvest (mostly clear trichomes) yields more energetic, head-focused effects with higher THC-to-CBN ratios; late harvest (amber trichomes) yields more sedative, body-focused effects as THC degrades to CBN. Most growers target 10-30% amber trichomes as the typical commercial sweet spot. Missing the window in either direction reduces potency and changes the cannabinoid ratio. --- End of Part 1 — Botany & Cultivation.
